Blood Diamonds

Explain the controversy with the diamonds that come from Africa.  Also explain what does "blood diamond" mean. How would you react if you knew of a diamond you or someone from your family owns a "blood diamond"?

  2. i think is unfair how those people dont understand the use of dimonds and its sad that some die trying to reach a dreamed life trying to find one dimon

  3. while reading the article i didn't understand why they're call blood diamonds...
    then when i keep reading i understand how people suffer so much to get those diamond and bring food to their tables, when in other parts of the world whealty families have many diamonds in their homes, in wedding rings, in bracelets and they don't even know the story of their ow diamond..
    thay don't know if someone was killed traying to get a diamond to get a few cents a buy a bowl of rice...

    i don't like diamonds anymore... :/

  4. i did not know that the workers only get .7 per day witch is wrong because you cant live with only .7 per day
